Even though Lennard has not done well against Tampa Bay Tech recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Lennard walked away with a 60-48 win over Tampa Bay Tech.
It was another big night for Richard Sykes, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nigel Roseboro, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Bloomingdale rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 64-37 win over the Hawks. The win was nothing new for Bloomingdale as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Lennard's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Bloomingdale, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
Lennard came up short against Bloomingdale in their previous meeting back in January, falling 67-57. Can Lennard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
