The Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 80-65 victory over Colonial Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Keith Hernandez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Hernandez is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ronnie Rivero, who scored 15 points.
Pinecrest Glades Academy pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Colonial Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Glades Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face BridgePrep Village Green at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Colonial Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cushman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
