The Severn School Admirals will face off against the Glenelg Country Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Severn School's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. Mary's by a score of 4-0.

Caden Blanck made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matt Fisher, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Meanwhile, Glenelg Country got the win against Chen on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.
Like Severn School, Glenelg Country also got a great game from a two-way player: Michael Gensemer. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gensemer was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Keegan Wojdon was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brayden Henson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Glenelg Country hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chen struck out 12 times.
Glenelg Country's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Severn School, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Severn School took their victory against Glenelg Country when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Severn School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Glenelg Country turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
