The biggest upset of the week belonged to Trumbull, who took down 27th ranked Darien, 39-26.
Vochan Fowler and Tyreik Gilbert provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bridgeport Central. The connection went for 88 yards, the longest such play in Fairfield County this season.
Jahaad Williams was the best wideout in the league this week as Harding fell to St. Joseph. Williams tallied 11 receptions for 128 yards. Christain Hopkins helped Harding's passing attack out by catching two balls for 10 yards.
Jordan Vazzano put up the best numbers through the air as the Cadets defeated the Presidents. He finished with a total of six completions for 105 yards and four touchdowns. Vazzano's favorite target this week was Denzel Moscova, who caught three passes for 56 yards.
Christian Bognar was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 176 yards on 25 carries as the Blue Wave lost to St. Joseph. Ian Vanderhorn also contributed to the rushing game with 25 yards on the ground.
Fowler provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bassick lost to the Hilltoppers. He completed five passes for 118 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 83 yards. Fowler's favorite target this week was Gilbert, who caught three passes for 111 yards.
Darien's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Wave feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Henry Baldwin has thrown for 1000 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Nicholas Lombardo has 13 catches for 422 yards. Bognar leads the league in rushing with 591 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between New Canaan and Joe Della Vecchia's team. The Rams comes into the matchup ranked 25th in the state, while the Cadets ranks 11th.
Trinity Catholic extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Stamford, 41-20. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Crusaders.
