Jamari Welch's Big Game Leads Athens Academy over Providence Christian Academy
Athens Academy picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jamari Welch. Welch was dynamite, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 97 yards.
Unfortunately for Providence Christian Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Welch. When Welch last faced the Storm back in October of 2023, he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
