In what's become a running theme this season, the Prince RVT Falcons gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Cheney RVT 57-23 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-7.
Despite the loss, Cheney RVT saw an underclassman step up: Trinity Hazel scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That was a full 34.8% of Cheney RVT's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristialis Carrasquillo, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Prince RVT's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Cheney RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Harvard Ellis Tech the next time they take the court. Cheney RVT will head out to face Harvard Ellis Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Prince RVT will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
