The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors won the last time they faced the Lodi Blue Devils, and things went their way on Monday too. Lakeside Lutheran enjoyed a cozy 63-44 victory over Lodi. Given Lakeside Lutheran's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Lodi is ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nadia Murphy, who scored 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Ava Stein, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Lakeside Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lodi, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside Lutheran will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Country Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lodi, they will play host again and welcome Sauk Prairie, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sauk Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three contests.
