Meanwhile, Tate waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gators.
One reason for the win was Tate's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.
Tate's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: Crestview hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 5.6 blocks per game. It's a different story for Tate, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 blocks. Given Crestview's sizable advantage in that area, the Aggies will need to find a way to close that gap.
Crestview was able to grind out a solid win over Tate when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
