North Cross simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Fishburne Military 51-2. North Cross have a history of success against Fishburne Military, winning their last head-to-head 51-2.
North Cross' offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 30 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Fishburne Military couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 30-0 heading into the break. The North Cross defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 2 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped their record up to 1-2. The loss dropped Fishburne Military's record to 0-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week North Cross take on Fredericksburg Christian at 2:00 PM. Fishburne Military will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Quantico in two weeks at 6:00 PM.
