The Wellsville Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over Baldwin. The result was nothing new for Wellsville, who have now won seven matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.
Wellsville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was William Dorsey out in front who threw for 194 yards and four touchdowns. Kenyon Gillins was another key contributor, rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Wellsville's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39 points. As for Baldwin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Wellsville will be playing at home against Perry-Lecompton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baldwin, they will head out on the road to face off against Hayden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hayden is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
