Curtis is 0-10 against the Falcons since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Curtis Warriors will be playing at home against the Wagner Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Monday, Curtis took a serious blow against the Central Cougars, falling 75-39. While losing is never fun, Curtis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Central Cougars are ranked 41st).
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-26, which was the final score in Wagner's tilt against the Mavericks on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wagner has scored all season.
Curtis' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10. As for Wagner, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Curtis was taken down by the Falcons 66-36 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Curtis have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
