Meanwhile, even though Vinal RVT scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Grasso Tech still came out on top. Grasso Tech walked away with a 68-57 victory over Vinal RVT.
Grasso Tech's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jerry Santiago, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and five assists, and Charis Johnson, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Stavesky, who scored seven points along with three steals and two blocks.
Harvard Ellis Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Grasso Tech, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Harvard Ellis Tech came up short against Grasso Tech in their previous meeting on January 2nd, falling 61-55. Can Harvard Ellis Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
