Locust Fork knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Cleveland likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Locust Fork didn't have too much trouble with Sumiton Christian on the road as they won 68-50. Given Locust Fork's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Sumiton Christian is ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cleveland took a serious blow against Hayden on Tuesday, falling 97-30. Cleveland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-10.
Locust Fork's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cleveland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
