The Sweetwater Mustangs fell victim to the Estacado Matadors's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 3-0 walloping at the hands of the Matadors. Sweetwater has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Estacado, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-2.
Sweetwater will be playing at home against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Estacado, they will head out on the road to square off against Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Estacado and Snyder are at an even 3-3-4 over their past ten head-to-heads.
