The Booker T. Washington Tornadoes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Norland Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Norland took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Booker T. Washington, who comes in off a win.
Booker T. Washington scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Thursday. They breezed by Killian on the road to the tune of 82-33. The win was some much needed relief for Booker T. Washington as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Norland came up short against Miami on Thursday and fell 57-50.
Norland might have lost, but man, Marcus Allen was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Allen has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah St.Preux, who scored ten points.
Booker T. Washington's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for Norland, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
