Tyler HEAT stacked a 20th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past North Hopkins 74-53. Winning may never get old, but Tyler HEAT sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Tyler HEAT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Tomlin, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. Tomlin hasn't dropped below two steals for 14 straight games. Another player making a difference was Waker Hartman, who scored 15 points.
Tyler HEAT is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 32-6 record this season. As for North Hopkins, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-7.
Tyler HEAT will head out on the road to square off against Edgewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tyler HEAT knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Edgewood likes a good challenge. North Hopkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
