Caden Hopper posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Bloomsburg back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Hopper and Southern Columbia Area will head out to challenge Mifflinburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wildcats thanks in part to Hopper: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
