Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, Fla.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 24 in the fourth quarter to seal a 34-0 victory over Central (Brooksville, Fla.).
After taking the lead on a
Ryan Quigley touchdown run in the first quarter, the Sharks were up 7-0 at the half.
Nature Coast Tech grew its lead to 10 points entering the fourth quarter. NCT's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal by
Austin Lacy.
A big 24-point fourth quarter helped the Sharks secure the win. Nature Coast Tech scored on a touchdown run by Quigley, a defensive touchdown and a touchdown pass by Quigley to
Lenny Beetz in the quarter.
A 52-0 Nature Coast Tech victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Sharks, who lost to Springstead last week, 24-7. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Bears. The win broke Nature Coast Tech's two-game losing streak.
Nature Coast Tech (1-2) will play a 5A District 6 game against Pasco next week, while Central (0-4) will take on South Sumter also in a 5A District 6 game.
