With a playoff win on the line, Douglass rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They breezed past the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish to the tune of 68-39. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Several Fighting Irish players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Bradley, who shot 50% from the field en route to 14 points and six rebounds. Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Bishop McGuinness, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-10.
