Neuqua Valley came out on top against Naperville North on Wednesday thanks in part to Ava Drehs's efforts. Drehs turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 24 consecutive appearances.
