The Gordon Lee Trojans lost against the Ringgold Tigers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Gordon Lee took a hard 21-7 fall against Ringgold.
Dustin Day threw for 66 yards on seven of 13 attempts. Landon Norton was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Brayden Stoker rushed for 48 yards.
Gordon Lee's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Ringgold, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gordon Lee will challenge Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lumpkin County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Ringgold, they will head out on the road to face off against Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesleyan will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
