Teays Valley Christian has gone 9-1 against Hannan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Lions will head out to face off against the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Teays Valley Christian has four straight victories, Hannan has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Teays Valley Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Tolsia, taking the game 14-10.

Ryan Breeding and Austin Jarrett were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Breeding struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Jarrett tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Breeding has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Breeding scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Jarrett scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ayden Arthur, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Bradley, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Hannan might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Buffalo who claimed the real prize. The Wildcats came up short against the Bison, falling 12-2.
Teays Valley Christian pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Hannan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Hannan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Teays Valley Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. It's a different story for Hannan, though, as they've only averaged .189. Will they be able to contain Teays Valley Christian's hitters?
Teays Valley Christian skirted past Hannan 7-6 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
