Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ellinwood). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 78-24 victory over the Chase Kats. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-6.

Drake Hosman had an outrageously good game as he went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Heinz, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Ellinwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Ellinwood now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chase, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
