When it comes to explaining why Maxwell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyce Cumming. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Robinson, who scored seven points.
Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Loup, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Maxwell will be home for the holidays to greet Brady at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brady is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. South Loup won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sandhills Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
