Karns lost against Clinton back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Karns Beavers fell just short of the Clinton Dragons by a score of 17-15. Despite 130 more yards than the Dragons, the Beavers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Even though they lost, Karns was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clinton only rushed for 37.

Bryson Maddox was his usual excellent self, picking up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns for Clinton.
Karns' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clinton, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Karns will challenge Lenoir City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lenoir City is coming into the game with four straight losses at home, meaning Karns will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Clinton, they will take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
