West Liberty-Salem's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Poppe, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Lilly Weaver was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
West Liberty-Salem's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Catholic Central, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
West Liberty-Salem will head out on the road to face off against Northeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Catholic Central, they will be playing at home against Mechanicsburg at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Mechanicsburg is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.
