This season hasn't been kind to the Seton Catholic Central Knights, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They fell 37-28 to Chazy on Tuesday. Seton Catholic Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chazy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Seton Catholic Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aiden Pearl, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, and Sam DeJordy who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Pearl set a new season high mark in steals with five.
Seton Catholic Central's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Chazy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lake Placid the next time they take the court. Seton Catholic Central will host Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Chazy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
