Trotwood-Madison posted their biggest victory since December 30, 2023 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Hughes as Trotwood-Madison made off with a 41-19 win. The victory was just what Trotwood-Madison needed coming off of a 67-21 loss in their prior contest.
In what's become a running theme this season, Meadowdale gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They breezed by Dunbar at home to the tune of 68-24. Winning may never get old, but Meadowdale sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Meadowdale can attribute much of their success to Zhieyah Rolack, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds, and Janiyah Middlebrook, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 24 rebounds. Rolack is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Walker, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Trotwood-Madison's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Meadowdale, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Everything came up roses for Trotwood-Madison against Meadowdale in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 72-24 victory. With Trotwood-Madison ahead 45-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
