There's no place like home for First Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wildwood Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-4 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Claire Carlton was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Avery Keller was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
First Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wildwood only posted an OBP of .423.
