The South Lakes Seahawks will face off against the Robinson Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Lakes will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
South Lakes had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt South County on Monday. The Seahawks were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Stallions. The Seahawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Gracie De La Cruz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Kayla Rudolph was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Cassandra De La Cruz was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
South Lakes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South County only posted an OBP of .364.
Meanwhile, Robinson lost 10-1 to Forest Park on Monday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Marina Palazzo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.
South Lakes pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
South Lakes' speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Seahawks have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Robinson, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will South Lakes continue to outrun the ball?
South Lakes took their win against Robinson in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Seahawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
