The Leipsic Vikings lost against the Patrick Henry Patriots back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Leipsic took a hard 68-49 fall against Patrick Henry. Leipsic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Patrick Henry found their leader in underclassman Ada Christman, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Christman scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carys Crossland, who scored 13 points.
Leipsic's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. As for Patrick Henry, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Leipsic will head out on the road to face off against Columbus Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus Grove is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Patrick Henry, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Swanton at 7:30 p.m. Swanton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while Patrick Henry is ranked 198th).
