The Bristol Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Liberty Leopards at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bristol, who comes in off a win.
Bristol can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They claimed a resounding 46-7 win over Chalker at home. The victory was just what Bristol needed coming off of a 65-32 loss in their prior contest.
Bristol's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Briauna Klingensmith, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Klingensmith hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lauren Church, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Liberty's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookfield.
The win got Bristol back to even at 7-7. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
