Carey's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Bucyrus Redmen. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Redmen: they've now won four in a row.

Carey's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Bucyrus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Bucyrus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-6 defeat against New London on the 10th. Hopefully Carey paid attention to the Redmen's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Redmen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
