After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Federal Hocking, the Miller Falcons were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 32-23 victory over Berne Union. For Miller, this counts as revenge for the 52-8 defeat Berne Union walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miller to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lillian Anderson, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Clara Gabriel, who scored 10 points.
The win got Miller back to even at 1-1. As for Berne Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller will challenge Wellston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berne Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Harvest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Harvest Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Wednesday.
