Basketball Recap: Honaker Comes Up Short

Honaker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 65-35 loss at the hands of the Northwood Panthers. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Honaker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northwood, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Honaker will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rural Retreat at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Northwood, they and Grundy will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
