Several Bronchos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brody McLaren, who threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 119 yards on only 15 carries. McLaren's passing game has become a key predictor of Bethany's success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise. Baren Tehee was another key back, gaining 132 total yards and two touchdowns.
As for Ardmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
