Madison put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season the last time the two teams met. They blew past Dell Rapids 28-7. The rankings were on Madison's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
No one put up better numbers for Madison than junior Tyler Tappe, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Nolan Johnson, who racked up ten tackles.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Madison will square off against Dell Rapids at 7:00 PM next week. Dell Rapids took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Madison's good fortune. As for Dell Rapids, they will face off against Madison. Madison are cruising in on a six-game winning streak.
