In what's become a running theme this season, the Milton Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Forsyth Central at home to the tune of 62-28. The win was nothing new for Milton as they're now sitting on three straight.
Nya Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Milton's points. Another player making a difference was Londyn Walker, who scored 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Milton's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Forsyth Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will take on Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denmark will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Milton is ranked 26th). As for Forsyth Central, they will be playing at home against South Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Forsyth is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
