Severn School had lost three straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it four. The contest between the Admirals and the St. Paul's Crusaders didn't end well, with the Admirals falling 20-6. Severn School's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Schlein, who rushed for 103 yards on only seven carries. The Admirals also got a significant boost from Jules Floyd, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
As for St. Paul's, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points on average over those games.
Landan Blue had a dynamite game, rushing for 76 yards and one score, while also catching one touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 70 yards.
