Severn School had lost three straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it four. Severn School's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Schlein, who rushed for 103 yards on only seven carries. The Admirals also got a significant boost from Jules Floyd, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
As for St. Paul's, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points on average over those games.
