Highlands won the last time they faced Winn, and Linden Sepulveda did her part to make sure it happened again. The Owls came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 2-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Sepulveda, who had ten digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

While Highlands might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Winn scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Highlands' win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Winn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Highlands wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Carrizo Springs on the 30th. As for Winn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Edcouch-Elsa on the 30th.
