Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey had a rough outing against Woodward Academy last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey got past Nodaway Valley with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 14-8.
The victory bumped Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey's record up to 1-2. Nodaway Valley are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey take on Tri-Center at 7:00 PM. Nodaway Valley will look to defend their home turf against West Central Valley at 7:00 PM.
