On Thursday, Rogers were out to avenge their 0-47 defeat to University from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Rogers suffered a grim 0-33 defeat to University. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as University enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Rogers are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5. The victory bumped University's record up to 3-1.
Next week Rogers take on Lewis & Clark at 5:00 PM. Rogers stagger into the contest hobbled by five consecutive losses while Lewis & Clark skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins. As for University, they will face off against Mead. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
