The Washougal Panthers won against the Hudson's Bay Eagles on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Washougal secured a 65-61 W over Hudson's Bay. The victory was nothing new for Washougal as they're now sitting on three straight.
Washougal's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Darling led the charge by scoring 15 points. Darling continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Frost, who scored 12 points.
The win got Washougal back to even at 3-3. As for Hudson's Bay, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Washougal will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hudson's Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against R.A. Long at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in R.A. Long's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Hudson's Bay has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
