The Harrison Central Huskies entered their tilt with the Triway Titans with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Harrison Central took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-10 victory over Triway. Considering Harrison Central has won four matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mykel Quito was his usual excellent self, rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Quito is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Cassidy, who threw for 94 yards and three touchdowns.
Harrison Central's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Triway, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Harrison Central will look to defend their home field on Friday against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. Garfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 585 points over their last 11 contests. Triway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
