Meanwhile, Stamford sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over New Canaan on Thursday.
McMahon pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stamford, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.
