It was a good run, but The Dover Senators unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to Sussex Central. Dover was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sussex Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 7-1. As for Sussex Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Dover will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cape Henlopen at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Cape Henlopen is ranked seventh, while Dover is ranked fourth). As for Sussex Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Caesar Rodney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
