Ridgeland-Hardeeville is 5-0 against Barnwell since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Barnwell Warhorses at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Ridgeland-Hardeeville is ranked 221st, while Barnwell is ranked 235th).
Ridgeland-Hardeeville suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 66-45 loss at the hands of Dreher.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jabien Harris, who scored 15 points, and Poncie Capers who scored 12 points. Harris hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Barnwell, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-39 loss to Silver Bluff on Thursday.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Cedric Hart, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Pickney, who scored seven points.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. Barnwell's record is now 4-6.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville beat Barnwell 55-43 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgeland-Hardeeville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
