Football Recap: Anderson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Anderson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Crenshaw, who rushed for 127 yards and two scores while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Crenshaw is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 102 every time he's taken the field this season. Anderson also got help from Jay Fullmer, who showed off his sure hands for 158 receiving yards.

Anderson's defensive line didn't let Brady Barrier, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by River Anderson and Hodges Smith, who racked up four sacks between them. Liam McMillian was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Barbers Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tripp Davis led the charge by picking up 176 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Barrier was another key player, throwing for 291 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Barbers Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
