Big Game from Basinger As Columbine Fell 35-34
Starting off the list is Columbine's James Basinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Basinger rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 66 yards.
With the loss, Columbine broke their 21-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. Basinger and Columbine will venture away from home to challenge Denver South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zeke Andrews Has Career-Day on Friday
Zeke Andrews posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards.
Andrews and Ralston Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on October 31st. The contest will pit Andrews up against the Wildcats' star quarterback Logan Duhachek. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jaiden Green Delivers Electric Performance Vs Denver East
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jaiden Green stepped things up a notch to give Arvada West the 'W'. Green was unstoppable, picking up 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 87 yards on only 12 carries.
Arvada West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Green and Arvada West are on the road again on Thursday to play Chatfield at 7:00 p.m.

Mark Snyder Makes It Two for Columbine
The second Columbine player making an appearance here is Mark Snyder, and for good reason. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
On the season, Snyder has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 129.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Brycen Leal Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Brycen Leal of Chatfield. Leal rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Chatfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Leal and Chatfield will challenge Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
