Hale can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 65-17 win over Atlanta. That looming 65-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hale yet this season.
Meanwhile, Au Gres-Sims' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 69-18 loss at the hands of Hillman. While losing is never fun, Au Gres-Sims can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 736th, while the Tigers are ranked 253rd).
Hale's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Au Gres-Sims, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
